I purchased SOLIDWORKS from the official website, but I am unable to install it.
Here is what happened:
• I downloaded the SOLIDWORKS Downloader (small web installer).
• During the download, my internet was interrupted, so I deleted the partial download and tried again.
• Now, every time I run the installer, I get the error:
“Could not connect to the SOLIDWORKS server to determine which products you are entitled to install. Check the Internet connection and click Retry if this is a temporary problem. Otherwise, you may continue without the connection if you have installation source files available on your computer already.”
• I am using a MacBook with VMware Fusion (Windows VM).
• I have tried entering different serial numbers, but the same error occurs.
